He came to bring the Mourners Joy

    • About

  • Revelations 2:7

He that hath an Ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.

He who overcomes shall eat of the Tree that grows in God’s Paradise; if he serves the Lord faithfully, he will know neither Death nor Misery. He will be rewarded with Heaven’s Bounty and shall have eternal Comfort.

He who overcomes shall not be harmed by the second Death, which torments the Soul. He will see my Face on the Throne where the Chosen sing Praises to me. After faithful striving and offered Sacrifices to His Holiness, He shall sing to me.

He who overcomes, shall eat of the Manna from Heaven. His good Testimony will never be forgotten. The Lamb’s Blood will exalt him and a new Name shall be given to him.

He who overcomes, shall be robed in White and his Name written in the Book of Life where nothing can blot out or separate him. For I will confess, he is mine before the Throne of the Father with whom I dwell and gives him the Crown of Life.

He who overcomes, shall be glorified in Heaven, just as I overcame the World when I hung on the Cross. Now I sit on my Throne at my Father’s right Hand. He who is Righteous shall have Rest and I will comfort him with Heaven’s Gifts. Amen.

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:11

    And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own Business, and to work with your own Hands, as we command you;

Let us bear the Cross patiently that the Lord sends us! if we go to Him in Prayer He will not withhold Comfort. Therefore come what may, I will keep my Faith in the Lord.

Even if my Heart is weak and it is ready to fail, when my Suffering is at it’s greatest and I see no Joy in my Day; I will say: I keep my Faith in the Lord.

Lord my God! Always with Hope, I pray for Faith. God’s Hand of Grace is open and I will know no sorrow. Therefore come what may, I will keep my Faith in the Lord!

  • Psalm 104:24

O Lord, how manifold are Thy Works! in Wisdom hast Thou made them all: the Earth is full of Thy Riches.

O Father of Nature, I shall sing a Song of exultation! I give Thanks for every green Meadow.

For all Pain and Joy, I give Thanks. Even more, I thank You for working a soft Heart in me.

Every Thing that is, has been created by your Hand. You are the Sustainer and your Work reaches from the Beginning to the End.

I hear You in the Storm, I see You in the morning Dew, in the Eagle, in the Worm, and in the still Meadows.

The Spring that flows from the Rock, whispers to me with every Ripple and Wave, that You are it’s Creator.

After the Day’s heat your evening Breeze refreshes, and carries the Fragrance of the Flower’s Petals.

I hear when the Forest sings it’s Praise to You, and I too raise my Voice in a Song of Praise to the One who created so much Beauty.

O God, your Goodness has created a beautiful World for me. For me You created Blossoms and Fruit in Valleys and on the Hills.

There is Joy and Delight here for me, where there is renewal. For me the Sun shines on the Fields and on the Forests.

For me the lowing of Cattle in the Meadow, for me the blue Dome of the Sky filled with the singing of Birds and bright Sunshine.

For me grassy Plains so lovely to see; for me the cool Winds that blow, for me every Thing is beautiful.

Lord, You are the Creator of every Thing that is Delightful to see. With every morning Sun I will rejoice in You and praise You for all the Goodness which is given to me! Amen.

  • Ecclesiastes 12:7

Then shall the Dust return to the Earth as it was: and the Spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

The Body sinks lifeless into the open Grave, as a Seed being planted. The Lord breaks open the Grave when He says: Rise up!

The Body crumbles into Dust in the Grave until the Day of Victory; when Jesus’ call resounds. Transfigured we will rise up crowned, in Glory.

The Grave does not enclose the Soul, for it is not made of Earth; the wind blowing upon it cannot destroy it.

In Jesus Christ, the Body which is God’s Temple, peacefully falls asleep. But when the Temple falls, the Spirit will live for Ever in Heaven.

The Body of a Believer rests in the Grave as on the Sabbath, when our daily Burdens are laid aside. The Body, even though it perishes, will, like Jesus Christ, rise up transfigured.

And when we awaken on that great Day; where? O Grave! is your Power then? And Death! where is your Dominion when the call of Jesus echoes through from the Graves? Amen.

  • Genesis 32:10

    I am not worthy of the least of all the Mercies, and of all Truth, which Thou hast shewed unto thy Sevant;

O my Soul! praise the Lord! the mighty King of Glory. Come together, awaken my Senses; this is my Desire, let a Song of Praise be heard.

Praise the Lord! who so gloriously rules all Things. Who carries us on Eagle’s Wings and keeps us safe; have you not felt this?

Praise the Lord! who has with gentle Skill prepared you, who has given you Health and Guidance. How many times during great Trouble has the Lord spread His Wings over you?

Praise the Lord! who has visibly blessed you, who has rained Showers of Love from Heaven. Think of what the Almighty can do, and who reaches down His Hand to you.

Praise the Lord! praise the Name of all that defines me, praise the Name of all Breathes. Praise the Name of Abraham’s Seed, He is the Light of our Soul. Do not forget! and Praise the Name with an Amen! Amen.

  • Isaiah 48:18

O that thou hadst hearkened to my Commandments! then had thy Peace been as a River, and thy Righteousness as the Waves of the Sea:

O wise Solomon! your gentle Reign soothes all the Pain that weighs on my Spirit. My blind Heart turns to you and soon Peace makes itself felt. Your Grace eases my Mind and removes my Fear and Unrest.

Surely my Friend! give me noble Gifts such as the whole World cannot provide for me! Behold all the Riches of the World; they cannot refresh weary Souls. My Jesus can! and does so abundantly.

O dear Friend! how Wonderful it is that the good Spirit draws so near to our Soul and feeds it with the sweet Goodness which eases all Fear, all Distress, and brings our Spirit gentle Rest.

For certain my Friend! when your Love passes into my Heart, then a gentle pure Light shines within me. A Light which opens the Father’s Heart and extends Grace and Forgiveness.

The more the Heart turns to the Father, the more Strength and Bliss it will enjoy. It will soon forget the Vanity of the World that burdens the Spirit. The sweeter the Heart, the more it is awakened to the Holiness of the Father.

The Fountain of Grace that flows into the Soul will be like a Well of Life. Keep this Fountain flowing and the Fruit Of the Spirit will spring up and grow in you.

When the Lord’s Purity is reflected in us, The Kindness of His Countenance will shine upon us and we are born again. Our Hearts are filled with His Love and all the Powers of Sin cannot harm us.

Grace brings what the Law cannot give us. O! desire for Holiness grows in us and gradually changes our whole Life. It gives us the Strength and Patience to endure Temptation and Suffering.

If only my Heart could see Christ: lift me on High that I may see your Light. No Fault is so great and heavy that your Grace and Love could not drive it away from me.

When my broken Spirit casts me down, and your Love and Mercy seems to leave me Behind, when the Law makes me doubt my Faith and I am anxious and filled with Fear, let me see your motherly Heart, and give me new Strength and Confidence.

So now I rest! in your Arms I shall find Salvation and eternal Peace. Your Grace is my Robe, my Being is at your Mercy. My Spirit follows You, because You are my One and Only! Amen.

  • Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the Government shall be upon His Shoulder: and His Name shall be called wonderful Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, so the World may not be lost and we may continue to live. Take heed, O Soul! consider what this Child has done for the Children of Man.

The Father’s Clarity, Love, Joy and Delight plainly show in the Countenance of His Son. He is the true Sun that illuminates the Darkness and lights up the whole World.

Manfully this Child has taken upon His tender Back the heavy Burden of Sins that can dominate and weigh us down. Let us be thankful and praise Him that He came and took them away.

His Name is called Wonderful; O Wonder of Wonders! God has become a Man! With Him is a Choir of Angels, joyously singing. Through this Miracle Child we will be reconciled and united with God.

If you lack Wisdom and you need Counselling, this Childs name is called Counsellor, He is a wise Counsellor. If you unite yourself with Him, He will be a faithful Counsellor and guiding Light, leading you to the very Best.

O dear Soul! if you lack the Strength to walk God’s Path, be not defeated, Immanuel will lend you His Strength. His Name is called Strength; He strengthens the Hearts, Minds and gives Courage to the Powerless.

Do you lack the Courage and Bravery to fight the Enemy? His Name is called Mighty and He will carry your Burdens. With Him leading us we will scatter the Enemy, conquering the Devil, Temptations and the World.

He is called eternal Father, a Father of the Lost. He seeks until He finds them and gives them a new Spirit. He is a fatherly Spirit, a good Father, loving us faithfully, and keeping us for Ever.

His Name is called Prince of Peace, who brings us freedom from Strife. He guides us to His Table which is set with Peace. Safely we rest in the Bosom of Love, where all our Fears are stilled.

Therefore Heart, rejoice in Him; accept what God has offered. Raise your voice in Jubilation, praise Him with your Life. He opens His Heart to you, give Him yours in return and the Son will make you Blessed. Amen.

  • 1 Corinthians 1:30

But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us Wisdom, and Righteousness, and Sanctification, and Redemption:

O Lord! teach me all that is necessary for me to know. All else is but a heavy Yoke under which the Heart is tormented and can never achieve true Rest and Peace. If You teach me one Thing, it will replace every Thing that is Heavy with Lightness.

O Soul! if you seek, seek with your Heart! Leave behind all that is Earthly and soar above the World to where God and Man will be as One. Where all is Perfect, and where Salvation can be found. Maria sat at the Feet of Jesus in total Devotion, and took into her Heart all the Words that Jesus spoke; and her Reward was great.

Dearest Jesus! so to is my greatest Desire. Let me cling to You and stay for Ever by your Side. Even though many turn away, I will not turn away, but follow You; You who are Life and Spirit. Where is Contentment found if not with Jesus?

The highest Wisdom is found in You; grant that my simple and humble Will leads me to that heavenly Wisdom. Lord Jesus! if You teach me to know and understand, then some Day my Wisdom will be perfect too.

Lord! I come before You empty handed. All I have was paid for with your Blood. Your Death on the Cross opened Righteousness before me. Only in Hope through and Faith will it be possible for me to wear the Robe of Salvation.

Grant that my Soul may awaken in your Image; I choose You, who died for my Sanctification. Let me serve You now and hereafter, keep me from Temptation. Jesus! grant that I may devote my Life to You!

Yes! what more could I ask for? The Flood of your Grace fills me. You gave your Blood to enter into Holiness and find eternal Redemption. You freed me from the Dominion of Hell, and with a new Voice and Spirit I sing Abba all the Day long.

Now my Soul delights in Contentment, Peace and Joy! Jesus! my Shepherd has led me to fresh Pastures. Nothing is sweeter than to have Jesus always in my Heart! Nothing is so refreshing and blissful as to behold my Saviour, Jesus with new Faith in my Heart.

Jesus! You shall be my One and Only. Test my Heart, and erase all the Hypocrisy. Guide me away from the deceitful Path I am on, and onto the eternal Path. Jesus! Grant that I win and know the Beauty of a true and faithful Heart. Amen.

  • Isaiah 57:2

He shall enter into Peace: they shall Rest in their Beds, each One walking in his Uprightness.

Your sheltered Body rests now, in this cool dark Grave. Your Spirit has flown from this World to seek Comfort with the Saviour. One Day Jesus will call you to rise from your resting Place.

Therefore rest, rest here in this soft and gentle Silence. For one Day we will follow and our Body will be laid in a Grave where all our Burdens are cast aside.

If Jesus wills, we still live, live in our simple Pilgrim Shelters. All who aspire to win their Crown must bear this Yoke. Finally Sleep comes, and leads us, leads us to the Shelter of the Saviour’s Arms. Amen.

  • Revelation 14:13

And I heard a Voice from Heaven, saying unto me, Write, blessed are the Dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they rest from their Labours; and their Works do follow them.

Blessed are the Ones who are Devout! you who come to God through Death. All the Trouble that holds you captive on Earth will bother you no more.

Here we live as if in a Prison; there is only Worry, Fear and Terror. What we know here can only be called Trouble and Heartache.

But you who have gone on are resting in your Chamber, Safe and Free from every Sorrow. No more Suffering nor Crosses to bear; nothing to hinder your Joy.

Christ wiped away all your Tears; you already have what we so strongly hope for. For you a Song will be sung which has never been heard down here Below.

Yes! who would not gladly leave this World and inherit Heaven? who would want to stay here any longer midst Pain and Sorrow?

Come, O Christ! come, and take away our Cross, set us Free. Take us with You, Lord, soon, so the Joy and Bliss of Heaven will fill our pious Souls. Amen.
