He came to bring the Mourners Joy

    • About

  • Jeremiah 5:24

Neither say they in their Heart, Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth Rain, both the former and the latter, in his Season: He reserveth unto us the appointed Weeks of the Harvest.

We come before You to rejoice in your Mercy and give Thanks to You, Lord of the Harvest. Your gentle fatherly Hand has once again blessed our Land and filled our Barns with an abundant Harvest.

Graciously accept our whole hearted Praise, and deepen our feeling of Thanks for all the good You have done for us. We thank You for your Faithfulness and dedicate our Life to You.

And as your Love gives us our daily Bread, awaken our Compassion to see and feel our Brother’s Need. You love the Rich and Poor and give to each what they need; yes, enough to share with Others.

With your blessing every Thing has turned out well in the Field we cultivated. But are the Seeds of Faith ripening that God’s Son sowed in His harvest Field? When He looks at us, are we a Field that is growing and blooming for Him?

We must prevent the busy Enemy from sowing Weeds! Lord, let the Fruit of your Word grow far and wide, so that we may bring Sheaves of Praise on that great Harvest Day! Amen.

  • Psalm 118:22

The Stone which the Builders refused is become the Head Stone of the Corner.

The Foundation Stone chosen by God, the Rock on which the Church rests; your Glory will remain long after the World lies in Ruins.

Lord, we will gladly build a House where we proclaim your Honour and pure Doctrine for Ever and Ever.

Therefore we lay a Stone as the Foundation for a new Building. And we wait for the Hour of your Blessing, fresh as the Morning Dew.

O! let us raise up this House united in Love and Strength, so that with your Help nothing may grieve us.

But above all, Lord, prepare us for your Temple, so that those who depart from our midst will rejoice in eternal Rest. Amen.

  • Genesis 28:17

And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this Place! this is none other but the House of God, and this is the Gate of Heaven.

The Lord is present here, and here is the Gate of Heaven. The Lord’s Grace and Blessings are in this Place. Here true Believers will find the Gate and the Ladder to Heaven, despite Satan’s disguised Obstacles.

The Door is open here for who ever comes in Repentance, in Faith, Love and Hope, and weeps for Wrongs done. He will not be cast out, but he will be received by Jesus with all the Devout, and will not come into Judgment.

Who ever is Weary and heavy Burdened, let him enter in; he will find not only Bread and Wine, but also the Body, and Blood of Jesus that was shed for him. Here will be spiritual Enjoyment, in this Place where he may remain for Ever.

Here a joyful Feast is prepared for God’s People. Here shall those weakened with Strife and War be fed. Those who struggle against Sin and and crush the Works of Satan, will be fed here.

For those who are poor in Spirit and always hungry, those who surrender to the Lord and do Penance, those who long for Righteousness for the Pain in their Hearts, is this Feast of Mercy and Grace prepared.

Those who repent of their Sins from the bottom of the Heart, whether soon or late, shall rejoice in this holy Place. God will not cast them out; because they have been reborn, He has chosen them to live in His House.

O Jesus, my Delight! I come to You as the Sunrise, with heartfelt Desire. Give me to drink of your Blood and feed me with your Body. For I know and believe that You are the All Highest.

Because I am Weary and Faint with Pain and Suffering from many Sins, refresh me with your Joy. Satisfy me with the Wine of Life and the Bread of Life so that I remain Faithful to You. Help me commit myself entirely to You in Life and Death! Amen.

  • 1 Peter 2:5

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy Priesthood, to offer up spiritual Sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

God and Father, I beg You, grant my Plea for Grace and overlook my Guilt. The Pain of my Sins breaks my Heart; let your Mercy shine upon me , a poor sinner. O Lord! I deeply regret of my Sin; forgive me with your Grace! More and more prepare me each Day to walk in your Path, so that all I do may flow from true Faith in You, until my Life closes.

My God! I beg You to prepare me, a poor sinner, to be a Pillar of your House, which is founded for Eternity on Jesus Christ, whom Hell cannot tempt to change. Let me walk in the Path He forged with the Cross. Let me patiently endure Contempt, Hardship, Pressure and Adversity. But Lord, it is difficult for the Flesh; help make me, the weak One, stronger when You look down on me from Heaven.

Blow on this weak wick of Faith, make me a useful Vine. Take care of this bruised Reed in which this poor Soul lives. Prepare me here, so that I may fulfill your Will as best I can. Ruler of Multitudes! make me acceptable to You; help me tame the Desires of the Flesh, and save me from the Fire. O yes! with your Grace make me a Member of your Body, so that I shall stay with You for Ever.

I was conceived and born in Sin; save me with your Grace so that I may not be Lost. Grant me the Strength to fight the Lust that Flesh and Blood awaken; that my Robe of Innocence will not be defiled. O God! advise me; my Flesh often opposes me, and seeks Rest in the World, Rest which only abides in You. The Spirit is indeed willing, but the Strength to follow Holiness is often lacking.

My God! if my Prayer is granted, then comfort me with your Word. Say it so my Soul may hear: Enough, don’t tremble! You will remain for Ever in my Heart, how could I not love You! Amen.

    DEVINE COMFORT

Do not fail, my tender Servant! For I will make you free, and help you strive to overcome your Temptations. The harder the War, the more beautiful the Victory. I will help you defeat your Enemies. The Saviour, the Alpha and Omega calls you to follow the Cross. Consider my Work and conduct yourself so that nothing may tempt you. The Consolation in this will delight your mind and put your Spirit to Rest.

Remember the Rewards He promises: those who conquer the Flesh receive the Crown of Glory from my Hand, in the Light where Joy reigns for Ever above the Heads of those whose Names are written in the Book. Dear Soul, fight with Courage! I will not abandon you and when your Life is complete, I will take you in my Arms and hold you to my Breast. Your Death threatens Decay, but my Death will prevent it, and Heaven will be open to you.

When you triumph with me in eternal Glory, how Magnificent the holy white Garment will be that covers your Body. Out of great Love for you I died and purchased a precious Gift for you. Amen.

  • Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ the same Yesterday, and Today, and for Ever.

Give Thanks to the Lord, Servants of God! come and exalt Him in Praise, for He calls the Seed of Israel His: Jesus Christ is Today, Yesterday and for Ever.

Do not say, These Days are not like they were in the Past. God reveals His Secrets to no one. What God did in the Past is not for us to know.

Do not think, The Hands of the Most High are weakened now, or His good Things come to an End; He is still gracious and merciful in every Way: Christ is still Today, Yesterday and for Ever.

In all Things hold fast to your God alone: let only those Things that God does bring bring you Joy. In all your Trouble and Distress, always seek the Comfort of your God.

All you Servants of God, seek your Master in your Distress. Those who turn Anywhere but to the true God will go astray, and in all Matters prepare only more Trouble for themselves.

Only those who trust in the Lord will walk on the right Path; those who call on Him in a Voice of Anguish, Fear and Dread; to them alone will the Glory and Hand of God be known.

Therefore, give Thanks to God, you Servants of God! come exalt Him in Praise! for He still calls the Seed of Israel His own. Jesus Christ is Today, Yesterday and for Ever. Amen.

  • Psalm 119:105

Thy Word is a Lamp unto my Feet, and a Light unto my Path.

Lord, your precious Word is an exalted Gift. Grant me this Treasure, for I prefer it above all Possessions and Wealth. What would Faith rest upon if your Word no longer had any Value? I care not about the World’s Affairs, only about keeping and doing what your Word commands.

Hallelujah and Amen! Lord, look upon me that I may stand firm in your Name, true to your Word. Let me be devoted, ardent to be with You Early and Late, eager to sit at your Feet as many have done. Amen.

  • Luke 10:20

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the Spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your Names are written in Heaven.

This Day shall be my remembrance of my Rebirth Day. Joyfully I will give Thanks to my Saviour for my Redemption. O Lord! Praise be to your Name which is great Above all.

Does not my good Character tell me I am one of your Children? Let no one hinder my Confidence by doubting me. Since I was first named You have recognized me.

If I fail in keeping up with good Deeds and belie my good Name, your good Name shall ensure that I will not fail. Your Stronghold will protect me from my Enemies.

Grant that I never dishonour or disgrace my Name through Unrighteousness. Help me that when Judgment comes, that my Name may be recorded in the Book of Life.

I will not be afraid of Contempt or Danger. Though every one forgets me, You who are the Protector of those who know your Name, will not forget to mention my Name.

Last of all, I must remember how I may find Grace in your Sight. If I am found Worthy, what a rich Blessing will be bestowed upon me by your loving Hand! Amen.

  • Psalm 4:7

Thou hast put Gladness in my Heart, more than in the Time that their Wine and Corn increased.

O, Life of Grace and pleasant Joy! The Serpent is overcome when we surrender ourselves to God. Our Awareness is awakened, now we are Free. The old has vanished; the Lord has made Everything new.

Here is the Source of Life, here rises the Spring of Gladness. God’s Grace shines brightly on us. Here in Paradise is the Tree that bears the Fruit of Life which feeds our Soul, and keeps us safe from the Poison of Hell.

In Joy we leap, our Heart beats for Joy and we sing for Joy, God has removed our pain. We have buried Sorrow, Happiness enters our Body and Soul. We become drunk with Joy, for our Hope is to have pleased God.

We are completely swallowed up in this glow of Happiness. Our Tongues cannot adequately tell what God has done. We must be dead to the World and be renewed with the Spirit of God. Then we will inherit the Kingdom and God will be our Everything.

O Beloved! let the Urges and Impulses of this Earth fly away, and seek to draw closer to the Love that is God. We will lose the Happiness of Eternity if we allow ourselves to be seduced for a few Moments of Pleasure.

Those who follow the Pleasures of the World will not be happy but saddened in the End. For the Things of the World are like Smoke in the Wind. It is here but a short Time, then evaporates and it is gone.

Therefore Beloved! listen when God calls you, for it is with the best of Intentions: do the good Deeds of a Christian with a pure Heart, and our souls will be filled with the Spirit of Gladness. After a short Suffering on Earth, we will find Rest, and rejoice in Eternity.

Lord! come with Your precious Spirit and anointing Oil. Light the Flame to do good in our Soul. Touch our Tongues with Fire so we can send our Songs of Praise up to Heaven. Amen.

  • Psalm 17:15

As for me, I will behold Thy Face in Righteousness: I shall be Satisfied, when I awake, with Thy Likeness.

All People must die, all Flesh perishes like the Grass. All Things must die to be renewed. The Body must decay so the Spirit can be restored to the Glory that is prepared for Believers.

Therefore if it pleases my God, I will willingly lay down this Life. For I have found Redemption in the Wounds my Jesus suffered. And I have found Comfort in the Agony that the Lord Jesus suffered in Death.

Jesus died for me, His Death is my Gain. He has won Salvation for me. Therefore I leave this World of Hustle and Bustle and ascend to the Heaven of the Almighty God, where I will see the Holy Trinity.

There I will find a Life of Gladness, where many thousands of Souls are already serving before God’s Throne in heavenly Splendor. Where Seraphim shine and sing: Holy, Holy, Holy is God the Father, Son and Spirit.

Where Patriarchs and Prophets dwell together. Where the chosen number sit on Thrones of Honour. Where for thousands of Years the Pious have gone, where we can hear an eternal Hallelujah! in honour of our God.

O beautiful Jerusalem! how brightly you shine! O! how sweet the sounds of Praise and gentle Peace that are heard there. O! how great the Joy and Delight when the Day that never ends begins.

I hope to behold this great Glory and to be adorned with the white Robe of Heaven and a golden Crown of Honour, standing before God’s Throne, beholding the Joy that has no end! Amen.

  • Revelations 5:9

And they sung a new Song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the Book, and to open the Seals thereof: for Thou was slain and hast redeemed us to God by Thy Blood out of every Kindred, and Tongue, and People, and Nation.

Most revered Lamb, Jesus Christ! You were slain on the Tree for our Sins, to appease God’s Heart. Crowned with Praise and Glory, because the Power of Love and Obedience drove Your Desire to fulfill the Father’s Will to redeem us, fallen Creatures, through this miraculous Act.

The greatness of Your Passion, the degree of Your Pain, and the Patience You showed, far exceed the understanding of our Hearts and Minds. You gave Yourself willingly to the Cross. We would not be able to suffer the same, no matter our willingness to do so. The Things we suffer today are small compared to the Cross.

But such Devotion was not counted as excessive by this little Lamb. Lord, You did not suffer in vain. Lord, You suffered as a King who gives up his Life for his People so that he can save them. You offered Yourself as a Sacrifice to an angry God to atone for breaking His Commandments.

You could have remained in Your Father’s House without dedicating Yourself to us as a Saviour. But You could not bear that God’s Plan for us was Death through Sin. So You left Your Father’s side to sacrifice Yourself on the Cross to save the Sinners. With compassion You gladly offered Yourself up.

You saved us from our Pride and perverse Nature. You carried the Wood for Your Sacrifice, You let Yourself be stripped naked and nailed to the Cross. From the Wounds in Your Hands and Feet, from the Spear in Your Side, You shed Your Blood to pay for our Wrongs.

They did not take Your Life from You; You chose to give it. No amount of Goats or Calves can equal this Sacrifice. You offered to God the most acceptable Thing of all, which would tempt Him to extend Grace: Your Obedience and entire Will that sent You to Your Death on the Cross.

You are worthy, little Lamb! the Power that God had from the Beginning fell into Your Hand when You allowed Yourself to be slain and opened the Seal that showed the Path to Victory. Little Lamb! to You be the Glory and Honour. The redeemed Nations will rejoice endlessly because of Your Sacrifice.

At Your Death, Lamb and Shepherd! eternity resounded with Your Deeds and Reconciliation of the World. The Peace You gave through Your Blood will forever be a new Song to the Citizens of Heaven. Little Lamb! the royal Priesthood will forever praise Your Love with renewed Strength. Amen.
